Comfort-3 Indoor Transport is designed for safe and efficient intra-facility patient mobility. Built on the proven Comfort-3 platform with integrated push bar, foldable side barriers, and oxygen tank holder, this chair enables smooth patient transport between departments, treatment rooms, and recovery areas. The transport-optimized design combines the comfort and positioning capabilities of a therapy chair with dedicated mobility features, ensuring patient safety during movement while maintaining full treatment functionality at the destination.

5th Wheel & Push Bar
The retractable 5th wheel enhances manoeuvrability through tight spaces, allowing patients to remain in the therapeutic chair during transport and treatment. The universal push-bar with multiple grip positions ensures smooth handling even on longer in-hospital transports.
Foldable Side Barriers
Plastic side rails (L 92.5 × W 5 × H 34.5 cm) with orange release lever activation. Lower for side entry or wheelchair/bed transfers, raise for fall prevention during transport through corridors and doorways.
Trendelenburg Position
Real Trendelenburg position (-14° below horizontal) per EN 60601-2-52 provides emergency positioning capability during transport or treatment. Accessible via the handset or optional foot-switches for immediate medical staff response.
Rechargeable Battery Backup
Extended capacity battery option supporting approximately 10 hours of operation without mains power. Automatic charging via control unit with yellow CHARGE LED indicator on handset, ensuring uninterrupted function during transport.
Full Recline to Bed Position
The chair reclines to a fully flat bed position, enabling patient rest during transport and at the destination. This capability is essential for transporting patients who need to remain supine during movement.
Oxygen Tank Holder
Integrated mounting system for portable oxygen cylinders ensures safe transport of supplemental oxygen with the patient. The secure holder keeps the tank accessible and stable during movement through the facility.
