OncoCare Cancer Centre, one of Singapore's leading private oncology providers, has opened its first international facility in Malaysia, bringing subspecialty cancer care and advanced therapies to patients in the Klang Valley. The centre was officially launched on 28 October 2025 within Thomson Hospital Kota Damansara.

An integrated oncology hub

Spanning 12,000 square feet, the centre is designed as a single, integrated oncology ecosystem. It houses 28 chemotherapy bays — 22 treatment chairs, four open-bay beds and two VIP rooms — alongside seven consultation clinics, so diagnosis, infusion and follow-up can happen under one roof.

Expertise and therapies

  • Staffed by five resident oncologists and two visiting specialists in haematology and clinical oncology, with more than 130 years of combined experience.
  • Services span molecular diagnostics, AI-assisted radiotherapy planning and precision approaches such as targeted therapy and immunotherapy.
  • Supportive care including genetic counselling, nutrition, palliative care and survivorship programmes rounds out the offering.

Part of the Tamarind Health group, the launch reflects rising demand for high-quality, comfortable day-care oncology in Malaysia. For suppliers of treatment furniture, it underscores how modern infusion units pair clinical capability with patient-friendly chairs and bays built for long chemotherapy sessions.
